A few weeks ago I shared with you my thoughts about organic cosmetics and it's benefits, and introduced you to some of Neal's YardRemedies products that I got to try. Today I'm back to share with you my thought about these products! Some I liked from first use, and some I felt just weren't made for me, but what they all had in common is that they are organic, natural, effective and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. בתחילת החודש סיפרתי לכן על מוצרי Neal's Yardהאורגניים שזכיתי להתנסות בהם, והיום אני חוזרת לשתף אתכן ברשמים שלי מהמוצרים השונים לאחר התנסות של מספר שבועות. אתחיל בכך שאספר לכן שחלק מהמוצרים התחבבו עלי כבר מהשימוש הראשון, אלו היו מוצרים ששמחתי לאמץ לשגרת הטיפוח היומית שלי. חלק מהמוצרים התחבבו עלי יותר, וחלק קצת פחות, אבל לכולם יתרון משמשעותי משותף - המוצרים אורגניים וטבעיים, יעילים ומתאימים אפילו לעור רגיש ביותר. סקרניות לשמוע מה חשבתי על המוצרים? המשיכו לקרוא!
I decided to start with a product that is a recent favorite of mine, the
Nourishing Melissa Nail Balm (10 ml). As a nail polish addict I feel that having a good nail care routine is very important and I make sure to use nail butter / oil / balm a few times a day.
The
Nourishing Melissa Nail Balm comes in a small metal tube with a narrow nozzle that allows to extract an exact amount of product, which is very
comfortable to use. The balm has a refreshing Melissa scent, and the oily ointment absorbs nicely and nourishes the cuticles.
This great products quickly became a part of my nail care routine and I've been using it with pleasure since the first try.
אתחיל באחד המוצרים האהובים עלי מהתקופה האחרונה, וזהו באלם הציפורניים המזין Nourishing Melissa Nail Balm (תכולה 10 מ"ל). בתור מכורה כבדה ללקים וטיפוח הציפורניים, אני לא יכולה להעביר את היום בלי למרוח קרם / שמן / באלם מטפח מסביב לציפורניים והקיוטיקולות מספר פעמים ביום (כמה שיותר, יותר טוב!). הבאלם הנהדר הזה היה תגלית מענגת עבורי!באלם הציפורניים מגיע בטיובת מתכת קטנה בעלת פיה צרה להוצאת חומר בצורה מדודה. מדובר בקרם עשיר בניחוח מליסה מרענן. התאהבתי במוצר הזה כבר מהשימוש הראשון, והוא זכה להיכנס לשגרת טיפוח הציפורניים הקבועה שלי. הטיובה הקטנה הזו הפתיעה ביעילותה והיא מאוד נוחה לשימוש - מוציאים כמות מדודה בלחיצה קטנה, שיטה שמאוד אהבתילעומת הוצאת חומר מצנצנת קטנה ושטוחה (לדוגמא Burt's Bees) שעשויה להפוך ללא נוחה בשלב מסויים עבור בעלות ציפורניים ארוכות כמו שלי. הקרם עצמו מאוד מזין, שמנוני מעט אך בצורה טובה שמותירה את הציפורניים והעור סביבן בריא ומלא לחות, והריח פשוט נעים ומרענן.I got to try three face care products as well; Facial wash, toner and a daily moisturizer with spf.
The
Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Wash (100 ml) was my favorite out of these three products. This is a great product that I enjoyed using as a cleanser to complete my makeup removal routine. I felt that it did a good job cleansing, firming and hydrating the skin. At first the scent was a bit too strong for me, but I got used to it and not it feels much more pleasant to me.
Usually I like my face wash to be light and foamy, and this product doesn't foam as much, but I do feel that it does a great job and I enjoy it nonetheless.
I was expecting the
Rejuvenating Frankincense Toner (200 ml) to be a product that will become a part of my daily skin care routine, but that just didn't happen. I usually use a toner after washing my face and leave it on, but with this toner it just felt too tacky and had a strong scent. I did feel that it does a good job cleaning the face after the wash, but I just couldn't bare it on the face and had to wash it off, so I guess it's just not for me.
The Wild Rose daily moisture SPF 30 (50 ml) had a surprising formula that transformed from a heavy-ish cream to a silkypowder-like finish on the face. This interesting formula got me curious about the product, but unfortunately it felt too heavy on my skin, especially when it's so hot right now. I think it can be used as a great primer before makeup thanks to it's silky smooth finish and the skin perfection effect. This is defiantly something I will be giving another try later on.
במסגרת מוצרים לטיפוח הפנים, זכיתי להתנסות בשלושה מוצרים: תחילב לשטיפת פנים, מי פנים וקרם לחות עם מקדם הגנה.התחליב לשטיפת פנים Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Wash (תכולה 100 מ"ל) היה המוצר האהוב עלי מהשלושה. מדובר בתחליב המיועד לניקוי יסודי של עור הפנים, הוא תורם למיצוק והתחדשות העור, ומזין אותו בשמנים ולחות. ניחוח התחליב היה מעט כבד עבורי בהתחלה, אבל לאחר שימוש של מספר פעמים התרגלתי לריח והוא אפילו הפך לנעים עבורי. אציין בהזדמנות זו שמההתנסות שלי עם קוסמטיקה אורגנית (גם ממותגים אחרים), ניכר שחלק גדול מהמוצרים בעלי ניחוח דומיננטי וכבד, לכן בנות שרגישות לריחות שכאלו רצוי שיקחו זאת לתשומת לבן.בדרך כלל אני מעדיפה תכשירים קלילים שמוקצפים בקלות, אך למרות שהתחליב של Neal's Yard מגיע בפורמולה קרמית-נוזלית שאינה מקציפה במיוחד, הרגשתי שהתחליב עושה עבודה מעולה בניקוי הפנים משאריות לכלוך ומותיר את העור ממוצק ורענן.
מי הפנים Rejuvenating Frankincense Toner (תכולה 200 מ"ל) מיועדים לניקוי שאריות אחרונות מעור הפנים, מחדשים, מעדננים ומאזנים את העור. לצערי המוצר התגלה כבעל ניחוח צמחי כבד שהיה חזק מדי עבורי מכדי להנות ממנו, והתחושה שמי הפנים הותירו על העור היתה כבדה ומעט דביקה.אני אוהבת להשתמש במי פנים לשהלמת תהליך הניקוי לאחר שטיפת הפנים, ולרוב אני פשוט משאירה את החומר על הפנים ללא שטיפה, אבל עם מי הפנים האלו הרגשתי צורך לשטוף את הפנים שוב לאחר השימוש כיוון שהעור נותר בתחושה מעט דביקה ולא כל כך נעימה, לכן אני מרגישה שזהו מוצר שלא כל כך מתאים לי.
קרם הלחות היומיומי עם מקדם הגנה Wild Rose daily moisture SPF 30 (תכולה 50 מ"ל) הפתיע עם המרקם המיוחד שלו שהפוך מקרם שמנוני וכבד לגימור קטיפתי ומעט אבקתי. הפורמולה המיוחדת של התכשיר היתה מעניינת וחדשנית עבורי, אך הקרם התגלה ככבד מעט עבורי בעונה החמה הזו של השנה. יאמר לזכותו של הקרם שהוא יכול לשמש כפריימר מעולה בזכות הגימור הקטיפתי שהוא מעניק לעור הפנים ואפילו מקנה לעור מראה חלק יותר. זהו מוצר שאני בהחלט אשמח לנסות שוב בהמשך.Another great product that I really liked was the
Bee Lovely Busy Bee Balm, a multi-purpose balm with an intensely nourishing blend and a pleasant citrus scent. It can be used on dry lips, cuticles and dry patches. This oily balm melts into the skin with a nice cooling effect and leaves it very soft.
I always have it with me in my bag, and I think this one is a must!
עוד מוצר אהוב במיוחד הוא הבאלם Busy Bee Balm (תכולה 15 גרם) מסדרת Bee Lovely, באלם עשיר ורב תכליתי בניחוח הדרים. הבאלם מיועד לשפתיים, הקיוטיקוטלות, מרפקים וכל מקום יבש בגוף שזקוק לריכוך.הבאלם חמאתי מאוד ונמס במגע עם העור, מעשיר את האיזור המטופל בשמנים ודבש אורגני, ומותיר אחריו ניחוח ההדרים פשוט מעולה! לדעתי באלם שכזה הוא מוצר חובה בכל תיק, במיוחד בזכות העובדה שמוצר אחד קטן יכול לטפל בכל כך הרבה בעיות שונות.A product that I was curious to try was the
Lemon & Coriander Deodorant (100 ml). It has a surprisingly nice and fresh scent that I really enjoyed, but I didn't feel that it provided me the protection I needed
for these hot days. I find my
regular deodorant to be more efficient in this time of the year, but I do think this could work for me when it will be less hot.
What I liked about this deodorant is that it contains pure essential oils and it's aluminum and salts free.
I tried the
Rosemary & Cedarwood Hair Treatment (50 ml) a few times in hopes to treat my dry split ends and I think it worked pretty nice. This mask mainly consists of oils such as coconut, rosemary, lavender and cedar. This is a leave on mask that is meant to be used for half an hour or overnight, to help nourish the scalp and hair. I used it only on my hair, focusing on the ends, and I felt it did a fair job handling the split ends, leaving the hair shinier and healthier. I didn't like the strong scent of it, but taking in mind that this is a products that I'm not going to use that often, I guess it's alright.
Two more products that I got to try are the award winning
Frankincense Hydrating Cream and the
Beauty Sleep Concentrate, two great products that leave the skin deeply moisturizing and treat the skins as anti aging by reducing fine wrinkles and preventing premature skin aging. I felt that both products are really great and extremely moisturizing, but I can say I loved the
Beauty Sleep Concentrate more thanks to it's lightweight and easily absorbing formula which also had a lighter and more pleasant scent.

Overall my experience with Neal's Yard organic skincare products was refreshing and interesting. I already found a few products that I'm glad add to my skin and nail care routine.
I believe that natural and organic skincare products have important advantages over common drugstore brands - organic products don't (shouldn't) contain chemicals, silicone and preservatives, which makes it suitable for the most sensitive skin. On the other hand, organic products are more expensive, many of them have strong herbal scents that might not suit some people, and since they don't contain preservatives expire quicker than non-organic products. Taking this in mind, I think that organic skincare products are a great alternative for common products that contain harmful chemicals, and also might be a solution for people who suffer from an extremely sensitive skin.

לסיכום, חווית ההתנסות שלי במוצרים האורגניים והטבעיים מבית Neal's Yard היתה מרעננת ומעניינת. גיליתי מספר מוצרים מעולים שאני בהחלט רואה אותם משתלבים בשגרת הטיפוח הקבועה שלי, מוצרים שאשמח לחזור אליהם ולרכוש אותם לכשיסתיימו.
לקוסמטיקה אורגנית יתרונות משמעותיים על פני קוסמטיקה רגילה היות והם מיוצרים ממוצרים טבעיים, ללא שימוש בכימיקלים, סילקון וחומרים משמרים, מה שהופך אותם למוצרים מעולים לבעלי עור רגיש. מנגד, קוסמטיקה אורגנית יקרה יותר, לרוב בעלת ניחוח כבד שלא מתאים לכולם, וכיון שאינה מכילה חומרים משמרים תוקף המוצרים קצר יותר. עם זאת אני חושבת שקוסמטיקה אורגנית היא אופציה מעולה למי שמחפש תחליף בריא ולא מזיק למוצרי הטיפוח הרגילים שרוב החברות בשוק מציעות היום.
