Today I have a colorful glitter nail polish from Etude House to share with you. If you are not familiar with this brand yet, you should know this is one of the coolest Korean cosmetics brands out there! They have a huge range of great makeup items (including nail polish of course) and their product packaging is simply beautiful. If you like your makeup packed in cute, pink, adorable and original packages, you should totally check out this brand!
So today I will show you a cute glitter nail polish I bought online via The Cutest Makeup from Etude House - Color Play 142. Keep reading to see more swatches and also a magnified version!

Etude House Color Play #142 is a glitter mix of various colors and shapes in a black jelly base.
I think there's also some tiny silver holo glitter in there, but it's not that noticeable and sparkly as you would expect. I really love this jelly mixture with the glitter, I think it creates depth and it has interesting finish to it.
I applied two coats of the glitter over a black base, but I think you can get it opaque on it's own with three coats since the jelly base is pretty dark. I added two coats of PUPA's Gel top coat to smooth out the bumpy surface that the large glitter created.

I thought it would be interesting to mattify this nail polish and so I applied one coat of OPI's Matte top coat over it. I ended up liking this version even more than the original! I loved the soft velvety look the matte top coat created over the glitter, and it even seemed that the glitter popped out against the lighter grey background.

I will probably try to mattify various glitter polishes in the future just to experiment with them, since I really loved the look of this glitter with a matte finish.

Last week I was invited to OPI's Brazil collection event here in Israel, and being a real nail polish addict I just couldn't miss it. Arriving at the event, there were two gorgeous Brazilian dancers welcoming us with a fun music and of course the colorful Brazil collection.
You probably recall that now so long ago I showed you my picks from the Brazil collection , and in this post you can get another closer look at the new colors and the event.

בשבוע שעבר הושקה קולקציית ברזיל של OPI, וכיאה לחובבת לקים מן המניין שמתי פעמי לקניון רמת אביב לארוע ההשקה שהתקיים ברשת "אפריל". את פנינו קיבלו זוג רקדניות ברזילאיות בליווי מוזיקה מקפיצה, וכמובן לקים בשלל צבעים מקולקציית ברזיל החמה שחברת OPI השיקה בחודשים האחרונים ברחבי העולם.

Swatch & Review: OPI Brazil Copaca Babies Mini Set

Hello again! As promised, here's my second post for today featuring swatches and review of the Copaca Babies set, including four colors from OPI's Brazil collection (L-R): Where Did Suzi's Man-go?, AmazON...AmazOFF, Kiss Me I'm Brazilian and Next Stop...The Bikini Zone.

Where Did Suzi's Man-go? is a light orange creme. The formula is surprisingly good with the cremes in this collection, even the light colors. I used two coats, no top coat.
I don't own anything similar in my collection, but this is because orange isn't one of my favorite colors. I think that Where Did Suzi's Man-go? can change my mind about this. I really liked this color!

AmazON...AmazOFF is a teal creme with a hint of shimmer to it. I was expecting it to be a lot darker and more teal, but it was more green in real life.
The formula is a bit jelly like, but it was completely opaque with two coats. The shimmer was barely noticeable in real life.

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian is a pink creme. Another great color with a nice opaque formula, I applied two coats for the photo below.
This color was one of my picks from this collection, you can check another swatch of it here.

Next Stop...The Bikini Zone is silver-purple shimmery duochrome. For me it was the odd one in a collection of cremes. The formula was very sheer, and you will need about 3-4 coats to get it completely opaque. I applied three generous coats and you can still notice the free edge of the nails.
I can't say I really like this one, the color and the formula just weren't as good as the rest of the collection.

Overall I think that OPI's Brazil collection has some great colors for the spring / summer season, and their formula is excellent (except for the duochrome shade). I think that the mini set is a great way to try some of them without committing to a whole bottle of nail polish.
If I had to pick a favorite from this set, I would probably stick to my original pick with Kiss Me I'm Brazilian.

Hello ladies! Today I want to show you my current manicure that I am wearing since last Thursday and really enjoying it. I decided to pair a dark chocolaty base with a gold leaf top coat, and I was very happy with this delicious look.
For this manicure I used two nail colors that I think work really great together - Essie Shearling Darling and a gold leaf top coat Penélope Luz Midas. Keep reading if you would like to find out more about this look!

Penélope Luz Midas is gold leaf flakes top coat in a clear base. It reminded me a lot to Zoya's 18K Gold and OPI's The Man With The Golden Gun top coats, only I think that Midas has bit smaller flakes.
The bottle is pretty much filled with these gorgeous golden flakes and it was easy to get a nice coverage with one stroke. I've noticed that not all of the flakes were completely smooth and in some areas I got a chunkier look (some of the leaf flakes were a bit chunkier than others), but that solved once I applied a top coat (PUPA's Gel Top Coat).
I feel that Midas is a gorgeous and luxurious top coat that can look great over so many colors, light or dark - I think it will look great applied over black, dark blue, red, turquoise and even nude base, which I want to try in the future.

I applied one coat of Penélope Luz Midas over Essie Shearling Darling (two coats) from Essie's Winter 2013 collection. I really love this dark mahogany shade, it has a rich color with a hint of brown, in shade it looks almost like a dark chocolate rather then a dark cherry.

I really loved how these the gold flakes looked over that base color, it was such a delicious combination!

Hello everyone! Today I have a special post to share with you, featuring a look I created for Purim, a Jewish holiday celebrated with fun costumes, a lot like Halloween. I was offered to do a collaboration with WOW Cosmetics store and to create a look using some of their cosmetics and accessories, and so the first look I created is inspired by Lana Del Rey.

כפי שאתם בטח יודעים פורים מתקרב, ולמרות שמזג האוויר לא נראה מזמין במיוחד, אני לגמרי נכנסתי לאווירת פורים כייפית והחלטתי להכין לכם פוסט נחמד באווירת החג. השבוע קיבלתי הזמנה לשיתוף פעולה עם חברת WOW קוסמטיקסשבמסגרתו עלי להכין לוק לפורים עם מגוון מוצרי האיפור והאקססוריז שהם מציעים לחג, וזה הלוק הראשון שהכנתי בהשראת הזמרת לנה דל ריי Lana Del Rey.

I got the idea to create this look from a flower crown that I found among the many accessories at the WOW Cosmetics store. I actually spotted it a while back and really liked it, it reminded to of the flower crowns that Lana Del Rey wears a lot in her photos and video clips, and I thought it could be nice to try and recreate this look.

את ההשראה ללוק הזה קיבלתי באופן מפתיע מקשת פרחים לבנה שהייתה חלק מהאקססוריז הרבים שמציעים ב-WOW קוסמטיקס בחנות שלהם. האמת היא ששמתי עין על הקשת הזו עוד לפני החג וממש אהבתי אותה, היא הזכירה לי את כתר הפרחים שהזמרת לנה דל ריי לובשת בחלק מהתמונות והקליפים שלה, וחשבתי שזה יהיה רעיון נחמד לנסות ליצור לוק בהשראתה.

I chose to use a few elements that are identified with Lana Del Rey - Flower xrown, long almond shaped nails, eyeliner and a red lipstick. I think that with these elements I managed to create a look that resembles to her and I was actually pretty pleased with it! For some of you it might look like an everyday makeup, but some a girl like me that usually goes for a natural look, the red lipstick and the false lashes made a huge difference.

The nails were also a main part in this look, I created them with false tips. Since my natural nails are relatively long I had a hard time finding a size that will fit me, but I ended up choosing long tips and cutting them to size and shape I needed. Then I painted the nails with a nude base (363), and created a red (378) heart shape on the almond tips.

בחרתי להשתמש במספר אלמנטים שלדעתי מאוד מזוהים עם לנה דל ריי - כתר פרחים, ציפורניים ארוכות וחדות, איליינר ושפתון אדום. אני חושבת שבעזרת הסממנים האלה הצלחתי ליצור לוק שדווקא די מזכיר את לנה, ואני אישית הייתי ממש מרוצה! אולי לחלקכן האיפור עשוי להיראות אפילו די יומיומי ורגיל, אבל עבור אחת כמוני שבדרך כלל הולכת על מראה טבעי יותר, השפתון האדום והריסים המלאכותיים עשו את כל ההבדל.
גם הציפורניים היו חלק חשוב מהלוק הזה, אותן יצרתי בעזרת ציפורנים מלאכותיות. כיוון הציפורנים הטבעיות שלי ארוכות גם ככה (וזהו עוד אחרי שקיצרתי בצורה משמעותי), היה לי קשה למצוא בחנות ציפורניים מלאכותיות שיתאימו בול למה שרציתי, אז החלטתי לקחת את הציפורנים הארוכות יותר ולגזור אותן לגודול ולצורה שרציתי. לאחר מכן צבעתי את כל שטח הציפורן בלק ניוד 363 ועל הקצוות יצרתי צורה של לבבות בעזרת הלק האדום 378 שדאגתי להתאים לגוון השפתון.

I created this look mainly with makeup and accessories from WOW Cosmetics which you can see in the photo below: a flower crown (which was completely white, so I decided to bring some color to it and used acrylic colors), false nail tips, nude and red nail polish, false eye lashes, a red lipstick and eyeliner, pink blush and a pearly eyeshadow.
Besides the products being really cheap (which allowed me to get more for less), I really love that they have a huge selection of colors and finishes, and the quality is pretty good with most items.
Besides the items in the photo, I also used my regular BB creme and brow pencil.

את המראה יצרתי בעזרת מוצרים ואקססוריז מ-WOW קוסמטיקס שהיו החלק המרכזי באיפור שלי. בתמונה תוכלו למצוא את הקשת לשיער (הקשת מגיעה בצבע לבן, אבל החלטתי להחיות אותה קצת עם צבע ורוד וזהב בעזרת צבעי אקריליק. מחירה 15 ש"ח), ציפורניים מלאכותיות (18 ש"ח, ויש גם דבק לציפורניים שברח מהתמונה), זוג לקים בגוון ניוד ואדום (8 ש"ח כ"א), ריסים מלאכותיים (18 ש"ח) ודבק ריסים, שפתון אדום ואיליינר (פחות מ-20 ש"ח כ"א), סומק ורוד וצללית אבקה בגוון פנינה (באיזור 15 ש"ח ומטה).

מעבר לכך שהמוצרים של החברה מאוד זולים (מה שאפשר לי להצטייד בכמות גדולה של מוצרים במחיר מצחיק) מה שאני אוהבת בהם הוא המגוון הרחב של הצבעים והגימורים שהם מציעים מכל מוצר איפור, ולרוב האיכות שלהם ממש טובה.

מעבר למוצרים אלו השתמשתי גם בקרם BB ועיפרון גבות הרגילים שלי.

אחד המוצרים המוצלחים ב"ערכה"הזו שיצרתי לי הוא איליינר טוש שחור, איתו אפשר ממש לצייר בקלות על כל חלק בפנים ולא רק להשתמש כאיליינר. הוא עמיד כשצריך ולא עקשן מדי כשמגיע הזמן להוריד אותו. מוצר ממש כייפי ונוח לעבודה.

בחנות יש מגוון ענק של ריסים מלאכותיות במגוון צורות וצבעים. ללוק הזה בחרתי ריסים שיראו יחסית טבעי. את הריסים הדבקתי עם דבק ריסים שניתן לקנות גם כן בחנות.

עוד מוצר שממש אהבתי הוא צללית האבקה בגימור פנינתי מנצנץ מספר 32. בחרתי בגוון שהייתי מגדירה אותו ב-Ivory עם שימר זהוב. הצללית מאוד יפה כשמניחים אותה לבד, וגם נותנת גימור פנינתי אם מניחים אותה מעל גוונים אחרים.

שפתון אדום קלאסי עמיד בגוון C21, עוד מוצר מאוד מוצלח שאהבתי. הגוון מהמם והכיסוי שלו מעולה, הייתי מגדירה את הגימור שלו כמאט. בצדו השני של השפתון יש מכסה עם חומר שאפשר להניח על השפתיים בעזרת מברשת מדוייקת, ממש אהבתי!

סומק ורוד עם שימר בגוון מס' 1. יש לו פיגמנט ממש מעולה והיתי צריכה ממש טיפה ממנו כדי לקבל צבע מאוד יפה.

Hello and Happy Purim! I decided to post my second look for Purim toady which I created with WOW Cosmetics products (check my first look here). I had an idea for a sweet doll look, but when I found this blonde wig I decided to go for a fun look instead and created this Barbie doll makeup.

שלום לכולם וחג פורים שמח! החלטתי לפרסם היום באווירה חגיגית את הלוק השני שלי לפורים שיצרתי עם מוצרים ואקססוריז של WOW קוסמטיקס (אתם מוזמנים להציץ בפוסט הראשון שלי כאן). בהתחלה היה לי רעיון ללוק בובתי מתוק, אבל כשמצאתי את הפאה הבלונדינית הזאת החלטתי לזרום איתה וללכת על לוק יותר משעשע, וכך יצרתי את מראה בובת הברבי. המשיכו לקרוא כדי לגלות איך יצרתי את המראה הזה.

The blonde wig is probably the key for this Barbie look, but you can create various looks with it. This is actually the first time I tried on a wig and it was a pretty fun experience. I was surprised to find that you can get a great wig that will look natural for such a low price, and you can actually mistake it for real hair.

אין ספק שהפאה הבלונדינית הזו היא המפתח ללוק הברבי שיצרתי, אבל כמובן שאפשר ליצור איתה עוד הרבה לוקים מגניבים ומגוונים. זו הפעם הראשונה שיוצא לי לנסות פאה, ודווקא ממש התלהבתי (תמיד תהיתי איך זה להיות בלונדינית)! הופתעתי לגלות שבמחיר זול כל כך (45 ש"ח ברשת WOW) אפשר להשיג פאה שנראית כל כך טוב שאפשר בטעות לחשוב שהיא שיער אמיתי.

For the eyes and lips I chose to go with a bright fuchsia shade. I blended a white (color 35) and a fuchsia (color 31) matte eyeshadow, and added some shimmery loose eyeshadow (color 32) over it to add some sparkle. I used the black eyeliner from the previous look and drew a cartoon-like eyelids at the outer line of the pink eyeshadow.

For the lips I used a matching bright fuchsia lip gloss (color 29). It has a nice pigment and color but the formula was pretty bad and dried in a weird way. Probably not a product I would pick again, but I managed to make it work for the photos.

החלטתי ללכת על איפור בגוון ורוד פוקסיה תואם בעיניים ובשפתיים. לאיפור העיניים השתמשתי בשתי צלליות בגימור מאט בגוונים לבן (גוון 35) ופוקסיה (גוון 31) [מחיר הצלליות 9 ש"ח כ"א], ומעליהם הנחתי את הצללית השימרית שהשתמשתי בה גם ללוק הקודם (גוון 32). השתמשתי באיליינר הטוש השחור וציירתי קו איליינר רגיל על העפעף, ואז החלטתי להמשיך אותו ויצרתי מן לוק של עפעף מצוייר.
לשפתיים השתמשתי בליפ גלוס ורוד בגוון תואם (מס' 29). יש לו פיגמנט מאוד יפה והצבע היה משגע, אבל הוא התייבש בצורה ממש מוזרה ואחרי זמן מה המרקם שלו נהיה יבשושי. אם הייתי בודקת אותו לעומק בחנות, כנראה שהייתי לוקחת משהו אחר, אבל הצלחתי להסתדר עם מה שהיה וזה הספיק לצילומים.

The pink blush (color 1) from the previous look came in handy for this look as well, I applied it generously on the apples of the cheeks. To upgrade the look I added long and thick false eyelashes.

הסומק הורוד (גוון מס' 1) מהלוק הקודם שימש אותי גם כאן, השתמשתי בו בנדיבות על תפוחי הלחיים. ואיך אפשר בלי ריסים מלאכותיים לשדרוג הלוק - בחרתי בריסים ארוכים ועבים עם נוכחות (10 ש"ח), והדבקתי אותם עם דבק ריסים.

To complete this look I chose a pink nail polish (color 425) to go with the makeup, and applied a black & white matte confetti top coat (color 314) over it.

את הלוק הזה בחרתי להשלים עם לק ורוד תואם לאיפור (גוון 425) ומעליו שכבת טופ שקופה עם קונפטי בגימור מאט בצבע שחור ולבן (גוון 314).

PUPA Lasting Color Gel - New In My Stash!

Last week I got some new colors from PUPA's Lasting Color Gel series, and so I thought to give you a sneak peek at the new colors. I chose some shades that were most interesting to me, and believe me when I say it was a pretty had task since there are so many great colors in this collection.

A while ago I did a review on one of the colors from the Lasting Color Gel and the great Gel Top Coat from this series (check this post if you missed the previous review) and I am curious to see if these colors will be as great as the one I got to try.

שבוע שעבר הגיעו אלי גווני לק נוספים מסדרת Lasting Color Gelשל חברת PUPA, והחלטתי לתת לכן הצצה אל השלל הצבעוני הזה. בחרתי מספר גוונים שהיו הכי אטרקטיביים בעיני - ותאמינו לי, המשימה היתה מאוד קשה כי יש הרבה צבעים מוצלחים בסדרה הזו!

לא מזמן סקרתי את אחד הלקים מהסדרה החדשה Lasting Color Gelואת ה-Gel Top Coatהנהדר שבסדרה (אם פספסתן את הפוסט הקודם אני ממליצה להציץ כאן), ואני מאוד סקרנית לראות האם שאר הצבעים יהיו מעולים כמו הצבע שיצא לי לנסות.

The new Color Lasting Gel collection by PUPA is actually regular nail polish (these aren't gel polish that you would use with UV/LED lamp to dry) but they promise to have a glossier finish and long lasting formula. When I tried my first nail polish from this collection I realized that in fact the Gel Top Coat is what gives the impressive shine. The color nail polish itself has a nice shiny finish but not as impressive as the top coat.

The formula changes a bit from each color, for instance the mint shade has a very opaque creme formula while the dark burgundy is a creme-jelly. Overall the formula is good in all the colors I've tried and they are completely opaque with just two coats.

הפורמולה משתנה מעט מגוון לגוון - למשל בגוון המנטה הפורמולה מאוד קרמית ואטומה למרות היותו צבע בהיר, ולגוון הבורדו הכהה פורמולה שהיא שילוב בין קרם לג'לי. בסך הכל מדובר בפורמולה טובה ואטומה בשתי שכבות.

It was hard for me to pick a favorite right now because I really like all these colors. It's kinda funny but looking at this nail wheel right now I think it pretty much represents the basic colors in my collection - purple is my favorite color, and so is the pink which I have a lot of in the stash. A classic red which is a must have in every collection, a dark burgundy which was one of my favorite shades this winter, a taupe which represents the diversity since it's a color I was always eying but don't have a lot of, and the mint color which I'm pretty much obsessed with and it's what started my obsession with nail polish two years ago.

אני אישית מאוד אהבתי את כל הגוונים וקשה לי לבחור אחד שמועדף עלי כרגע. זה קצת משעשע אבל כשאני מסתכלת עכשיו על התמונות, אני חושבת שהמניפה הזו די מייגצת את הצבעים הבסיסיים באוסף שלי (שכולל מאות לקים) - סגול שהוא הצבע האהוב עלי, ורוד גם הוא אחד האהובים עלי וכנראה הגוון שיש לי הכי הרבה באוסף (יחד עם סגול), אדום קלאסי שפשוט חובה בכל אוסף, בורדו כהה שהיה אחד הגוונים האהובים עלי בחורף הזה, טאופ שמייצג דווקא את השינוי והגיוון שבאוסף שלי כי זהו צבע שתמיד סקרן אותי אבל משום מה נמנעתי ממנו, והמנטה שמייצג את האובססיה שלי לגוון הזה שבעצם התחיל את כל הטירוף סביב הצבעוניות של הלקים לפני שנתיים.

The first product that caught my eyes was a peeling cream from Lavido, an Israeli brand that specializes in natural, organic cosmetics.

Pure pleasure of cleanliness and freshness.The cream's grains, derived from the pomegranate peel, gently massage the skin, removing the layer of dead skin cells and regenerating the skin tissue.

I really liked the nice packaging of this cream, despite the simple and clean look it looks very luxurious and promising. While testing the product itself I was pretty surprised by the it's muddy color which wasn't that attractive, but taking in mind it's a natural and organic product, that makes scene. The scent was pretty strong and reminded me of menthol and medical ointments, I didn't really like it. But this product delivers - it really left the skin fresh and soft after use.

בהתרשמות ראשונית כמובן אהבתי את האריזה היפה של הקרם, ולמרות העיצוב לכאורה פשוט ומינימליסטי, אריזת המוצר משדרת לטעמי איכות ויוקרה. כשניגשתי למוצר עצמו, צבע הקרם קצת הפתיע אותי, אבל בהתחשב בעובדה שמדובר במוצר טבעי ואורגני, זה הגיוני. לקרם הפילינג גוון חום בוצי ולא כל כך אטרקטיבי. ריח הקרם מאוד חזק, היה לי קשה להגדיר אותו, אבל יש בו משהו שמזכיר מנטול, בדומה למשחות רפואיות.

יאמר לזכותו של המוצר שלאחר השימוש הוא משאיר את העור רענן, קטיפתי ונעים למגע.

Along with the peeling cream came two samples of a Face Moisturizing cream and Rejuvenating Facial Serum. Both samples had strong scent that resembled in a way to the peeling cream, which I didn't really like, but I felt they did a good job with giving moisture to my skin (although the serum might be too oily for my skin).

הקרם מיועד לעור רגיל-יבש, בעל מרקם סמיך יחסית. הנחתי את הקרם לפני השינה ולמחרת עור הפנים היה רך ונעים.

סרום פנים משקם (דוגמית) - סרום מותאם במיוחד לעור יבש או מבוגר הזקוק למנה גדושה של הזנה. תערובת השמנים הייחודית המצויה בסרום זורעת בעור חיות טבעית. הוויטמינים, החומצות הפעילות והמינרלים המצויים בשפע בזרעי הרימון והאשכולית, תורמים לשיקום רקמת הקולגן ולהאצת קצב התחדשות התאים ומסייעים להחזיר לעור לחות, נפח ואלסטיות. מומלץ לשימוש על עור לח. מחיר לגודל מלא 189 ש"ח.
סרום הפנים המשקם מיועד לעור רגיל-יבש, ומומלץ כבסיס לקרם לחות. למרות שאני בעלת עור יבש יחסית, הסרום הרגיש לי כבד ושמנוני מדי. הסרום נראה כשמן בגוון צהבהב, ריחו היה הכי כבד ופחות נעים לי.
היה לי קצת חבל שלמוצרים יש ריח כל כך חזק ודומיננטי, היתי שמחה לנסות עוד מוצרים מהסדרה אילו הריח היה עדין יותר, כי באמת נראה שמדובר במוצרים שעושים עבודה טובה.

Loose Mineral Eyeshadow from Sunshine Cosmetics. I got a pink shimmery shade "I Feel Pretty", it has a nice shimmer effect and a good pigmented formula. It looks like a fun eyeshadow to work with, I hope to create a makeup look with it soon.

אבקת צללית עיניים מינרליתבגימור שימרי של חברת Sunshine Cosmetics, מותג איפור חדש שהושק לאחרונה ע"י ליהי גרינר (האמת? הופתעתי לטובה). הגוון שקיבלתי נקרא I Feel Pretty, גוון ורוד עם שימר מאוד יפה. לצללית פיגמנט טוב והשימר מאוד מבריק, נראית צללית כייפית לעבודה - אני כבר מתכננת להשתמש בה ללוק איפור בקרוב.

Elin Bianco Hair Treatment Serum (15 ml sample size). For all hair types. Enriched with Organic Palm Kernel Oi. You can find additional info about the product at their site.

I was surprised to see how small the sample was, but when I tried it for the first time I realized you really need a single drop to use for your entire hair. The serum is oily and thick, I applied in to a damp hair and after drying it I felt it was soft and bouncy, but not as smooth as I get it with my usual products. Still these are important qualities and I liked this serum.

תחילה הופתעתי מהגודל המיניאטורי של המוצר, אבל כשניסיתי אותו בפעם הראשונה הבנתי למה הוא כל כך קטן - הרי שמספיק טיפה אחת מהחומר לשימוש אחד. לסרום מרקם שמנוני וסמיך, וריח אבקתי מתקתק (כבר הספקתי לסבך אתכם עם הגדרת הריחות שלי?). הנחתי את הסרום על השיער לאחר חפיפה וייבשתי את השיער. לא הרגשתי שהחומר מחליק את השיער כמו שאני אוהבת אבל הוא היה מאוד רך ואוורירי, שזו גם תכונה חשובה.

It was my first time trying the UniqOne products and I pretty much liked it, except for the coconut smell which I'm not fond of. I felt that it really makes my hair smooth and and the brushing was easier, also the hair was softer and shinier, so I guess it's really as good as they say it is.

The Lil' Wet Brush

I've hear about the brand but never got to try this brush until now. This is a mini version of the brush so it's suitable for younger girls as well, and fits in a handbag as well.

I tried it on wet and dry hair, didn't feel that it did much for me with wet hair but it handled combing dry hair pretty nice. Can't say it's something that made me go wow.

שמעתי על המותג אבל לא יצא לי לנסות אותו עד עכשיו. ניסיתי להבריש איתה שיער רטוב ויבש - לא ממש הרגשתי שהיא מסרקת ביעילות שיער רטוב, אבל סירוק שיער יבש היה יותר יעיל עבורי. הרגשתי שהיא קצת מחליקה על פני השיער ומסרקת יותר "על פני השטח"ולא ביסודיות. המברשת קטנה ומתאימה לנשיאה בתיק.

It's a natural handmade soap, made with gently gritted Argan seeds and lavender extracts. Also suitable for face.

I used it for face and when washing my hands, and unlike most soap bars it doesn't dry the skin. I liked it's scent and the nice and fresh feeling after using it.

The sample size was a bit difficult to handle and I think that a small tube (similar to chapstick) could have been a better solution for this sample, but I managed to make it work.

There's not much to say about deodorant, just that it does the job and has a nice scent. I also liked that it's 100% natural.

הדוגמית שקיבלתי היא בריח פצ'ולי רוזווד, ריח מאוד נעים. היה לי קצת קשה לגשת לדוגמית בצנצנת ואני חושבת שסטיק קטן (בדומה לליפ באלם) היה נוח הרבה יותר, אבל איכשהו הסתדרתי עם זה בסוף. דאודורנט כמו כל דאודורנט, אין הרבה מה להגיד כל עוד הוא עושה את העבודה. הפלוס - הוא 100% טבעי.

The box included two samples from Dr. Melumad from the Revitage series - Intensive serum and Day Essential creams. I haven't tried the samples yet, but from what I read they are suitable for older skin, so I will be probably passing them on the my mom.

Hello ladies! It's been a while since my last decent swatches post, and today I have the Magical Pixie Collection from Zoya to share with you. I got this trio about two weeks ago with a help of a friend, and although I waited for a long time to finally get them (and in this time I changed my mind about this collection a hundred times) I though now is a good time as any to try them out and let you know what I thought of this collection.

Zoya Magical Pixie is a new textured collection consists of large and small holographic glitter. Unlike Zoya's previous textured polishes (Pixie Dust), these dry to a much chunkier and gritty finish.

When Zoya launched this collection they announced that these are the first of a kind textured polishes to contain holographic glitter, but for me this announcement felt a bit odd since I know that OPI's Get Your Number also contains holographic glitter, and it was released a long long time ago.

Putting this fact aside, this collection is pretty different and looked interesting enough for me to give it a try.

Zoya Cosmo is described as a neutral silver holographic polish with a textured finish, but for me the color seemed as a champagne color. The polish itself is packed with glitter in a clear base, and the application was a bit tricky with this formula. I think it's best to apply them in a dabbing motion rather then in regular strokes.

The first coat dried with a weird finish, but the second coat looked much nicer. It's not a full coverage formula and in a closer look (macro) you can notice the color changes where the free edge of the nail starts.

The holographic glitter was way more impressive in person than in the photos, but you can still get a glimpse at that beautiful sparkle in the macro shots.

Zoya Lux is a rose holographic polish with a textured finish. The formula was exactly the same as the one in Cosmo, only Lux has a slightly tinted rose base color. Here as well it was pretty hard to get it opaque with just two coats, but I felt like the third coat with this formula won't do any good.

The color was very nice both in the bottle and on the nails, but the gritty finish felt a bit too rough for me.

Zoya Vega is a pale aqua version of the same textured holographic polish, but with a much pigmented formula. Vega was the only color out of these three that you could get a full coverage with two coats.

The color was also very nice and the holographic sparkle was more noticeable against this darker base color.

If I had to sum this collection up, I would say that I had high expectations for it and I ended up being quite disappointed. For me the texture of this collection felt way too gritty and uncomfortable to wear because of the rough finish it dried to. It is a pity that I couldn't get it opaque with two coats (and three would have been way too much for this kind of polish). The colors were very nice and the holographic effect is impressive and eye catching in person, but for me it wasn't worth it. I ended up liking this collection in the bottles way more than on the nails. If Zoya will ever come up with a refined version of this holographic textured effect, I would be curious to try it, but I will probably skip any new colors with this texture line in the future.

Last week I got some awesome nail mail from Hypnotic Polish, a new indie nail polish stockist based in the Netherlands (worldwide shipping available).
In this post I will introduce you to this new indie polish stockist and their service, and also give you a sneak peek at the nail polish I got from their store. So keep reading if you would like to get to know Hypnotic Polish a bit better!

About two weeks ago I was contacted by Maria, a lovely lady who is the owner and creator of Hypnotic Polish, she introduced me to her new online store for indie nail polish brands and offered me to review their services and try a few of the polishes they stock at their store. I was excited to be able to pick from the great indie nail polish selection that Hypnotic Polish carry at their online store (there are many collections from great brands like Dance Legend, El Corazon, A-England, Glitter Gal, Rainbow Honey, Shimmer Polish, Cadillacquer, Pretty Serious and many more!) and I'm here to tell you a bit more about it!

Hypnotic Polish is a stockings of indie nail polish brands and nail care products, located in the Netherlands and offer worldwide shipping. They currently have a facebook store where you can purchase all the nail polish they carry, and at the end or March they will launch their official site.

There is a really great selection of indie brands that I don't even have in my collection, and with many new and current collections, which was was actually a great surprise.

Once I let Maria know my picks, it took the package only 10 days to arrive from the Netherlands to Israel. That was a very quick delivery and everything arrived carefully packed and in a great condition.

And here are my picks from the Hypnotic Polish store (L-R):

Dance Legend Top Sahar (a special top coat that creates a sand effect over any color), Dance Legend Glitter Base (a peel off base coat for glitter nail polish), Rainbow Honey Sapphire Weapon, A-England Briar Rose and Glitter Gal Transfusion.

Beauty Review: Rogue by Rihanna Perfume

In today's post I'm going to share with you my review of a new perfume by Rihanna - Rogue. It's the fifth perfume that Rihanna presents, with a new bottle design and a new flirtatious fragrance of a sweet musk and white flowers.

I would describe the perfume scent as a sweet musk, and although I usually prefer more fresh scents, I was surprised with how much I liked this one. The package of the perfume looks simple at a first glance, but I found it to be quite impressive. The outer package has a rogue texture and a metallic copper frame. The glass perfume bottle has a mature design which I personally liked more than Rihanna's previous bottles. At the bottom of the bottle there are six spikes which add personality to the bottle, and the textured cap of the bottle is matching the outer package. The name of the perfume is printed on the glass bottle with a metallic copper paint, keeping the design clean and luxurious.

I think that the beautiful design of this bottle and the nice scent of this perfume are reflecting Rihanna's personality and essence - elegant, flirtatious and impressive.

“People are always changing and evolving and with Rogue I wanted to switch it up to reflect who I am today,” said Rihanna to wwd. “I made it for all women, for every mood, because we all want to project our true selves.”
The fragrance is announced as a flirtatious and sensual oriental, containing accords of lemon blossom, cyclamen, jasmine, rose, plum and suede over a base of musk, woods, patchouli, vanilla and amber.
Mario Sorrenti photographed the advertising campaign. The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum in three sizes (the largest one is 125 ml).

Hellooo ladies! Today's post is very special and kind of exciting for me! This is the first post in a series of a blogging challenge group posts that I will be making with a few fellow bloggers - The Beauty Buffs.
This group was recently founded by the very lovely Nory (you might know her from Fierce Makeup And Nails blog) who had this idea of gathering a few talented and creative bloggers in the nail art, beauty and fashion community from around the globe, and together create themed posts twice a month. I was super excited when Nory offered me to join this group and I think it's a great opportunity for me to challenge myself and bring a bit more interesting content to you, my readers, and also a great way for you (and me) to get to know some new and awesome bloggers!

The first theme challenge was Pastels! Oh what a great theme, so trendy and fun!
For this post I decided to create simple a nail art for spring with pastel colors, and this is what I came up with. Keep reading to find more about this fun spring manicure.

For this nail art I chose three pastel shades from the new China Glaze City Flourish collection which I purchased recently (along with a few more colors from this collection, which I will be showing you soon on the blog). I simply adore pastels and I can't get enough of them, especially in spring time!

I started this nail art with a white base, then sponged the pastels a few times on the nails until I got a satisfying coverage.

The colors I picked for this nail art are Spring in My Step (a warm pastel pink), Lotus Begin (lavender) and At Vase Value (fresh pastel mint) from China Glaze City Flourish collection.

To make things a bit more interesting, I decided to add a some texture and sparkle to this pastel manicure - I applied two coats of Dance Legend Top Sahara, a special effect top coat that creates a textured finish over any color. I think it added a really nice touch to this manicure, and the sparkle was so nice over these soft colors.

I got the Dance Legend Top Sahara top coat from Hypnotic Polish store(read more about Hypnotic Polish here) just last week and I was very anxious to try it. When I first heard of this textured top coat I was pretty amazed. You have to admit, this is kinda genius - a top coat that will create a textured effect over any color pick. How come no one came up with it before? :)

I though that this could also be a great way to achieve a textured gradient look without working too hard on blending textured colors (which I did before here and here, and trust me - that wasn't as easy as you might think).

Dance Legend Top Sahara contains tiny shreds of iridescent and transparent particles and dries with a clear textured finish. You can apply it over light or dark colors, cremes or metallic finish, basically over anything you can think of, and it will create a textured effect.

The textured effect that the Top Sahara creates is relatively subtle but sill noticeable, and it also adds a some sparkle to the texture thanks to the iridescent particles.

I think that the textured effect is stronger when you apply it over a completely dry nail polish or over a thin layer (or two) of nail polish. When I applied it over my manicure it was a bit more smooth, but you can notice the effect is stronger when I applied it over the pastels on their own (top picture).

This effect is really beautiful and totally wearable, unlike many other textured polish brands that are just way too gritty and harsh to the touch.

For me the Top Sahara was a great innovation, and I just love that I can now turn any polish that I own into a textured polish. I'm pretty sure I will be spending lots of time experimenting with this top coat!

FUN Lacquer Spring 2014 Collection

Hello ladies! Today I have swatches of the FUN Lacquer Spring 2014collection to share with you. This collection is actually a trio of different polishes - a colorful holo glitter topper, holographic shimmer and a thermal nail polish. With SPRINGkles On Top is a mixed of colorful rainbow glitter in various shapes and sizes, mixed in a clear base with a spectraflair holographic effect.
You can wear it alone (3-4 coats) or layer over any color light or dark, to add a gorgeous colorful sprinkly touch.
I saw so many swatches of this shade and was really amazed by how different and beautiful it looks each time. It's a very unique top coat that will look great over any color, a great addition to any creme color, especially over soft pastels for spring.
The formula was really nice and packed with glitter so it was easy to achieve a nice glitter coverage with just one coat.
For the swatch below I applied one coat of With SPRINGkles On Top over Barry M Lychee.

Dazzling Blue is a blue holographic shade with fine gold shimmer.
It has a very nice pigment and coverage, and he gold sparkle gives a nice touch to this holographic finish. The holo effect was stronger in real life but my camera had some issues capturing it since it wasn't as sunny, but still it's a lovely and vivid holo shade.
For the photos below I'm wearing two coats of Dazzling Blue.

Pink Tulips on the Green is a thermal nail polish that shifts color from green (when cold) to white (when warm) with a shimmery effect that shifts from gold to pink.

Thermal polishes are always fun, and this one has a really interesting color changing effect. I love the transition of this polish and the shimmer in it was beautiful.

The formula was on the thick side but I managed to apply it evenly without much trouble, and used only two coats for the swatch below.

I think that my fave from this collection must be the amazing holo glitter topper - With SPRINGkles On Top. It's super unique and I think it will be interesting to play with this one and try it over various colors.

Swatch & Review: Polish Me Silly Multichromes

For today I have three gorgeous multichrome colors from Polish Me Silly to show you. These three colors are only a tiny fragment of the huge range of multichrome effects that you can find at Polish Me Silly.
So today I have these three shades to show you (L-R): Cosmic Kisses, Love The Hue & Toe-Tally Cosmic. I chose to show you these colors swatched alone, although they are spectacular over a dark or black base color. So let's get to the swatches!

Cosmic Kisses is a multichrome polish that shifts from a variety of reds to burgundy to oranges to fuchsia to purples. It also contains tiny blue holographic glitter that adds a beautiful sparkle in the sun.

The formula of all three was a pretty sheer but it's totally buildable and you can achieve a full coverage with three thin coats.The color range in Cosmic Kisses is really beautiful and I think the holo micro glitter is a nice touch to it.

For the photos below I'm wearing three coats of Cosmic Kisses and a top coat.

Love The Hue is a multichrome polish that shifts to a variety of blues, purples, fuchsias, reds and golds tones.
I think this must my me favorite one of this trio, I'm really a fan of these dark blue-purple multichromes, and the color shifting of this one was really beautiful.
Formula wise it was sheer as well but easy to apply and with three coats I got it completely opaque.
For the photos below I'm wearing three coats of Love The Hue alone.

Toe-Tally Cosmic is a multichrome polish with a green base and color shifting effect from greens to blues, purples, reds and gold.
This one was very unique and interesting to me, like nothing I've seen before. This shade is so versatile and it completely changes in different lighting that sometimes you can't even tell it's the same polish. Although normally I'm not a big fan of green shades on me, this one was really amazing!
For the swatches below I'm wearing three coats of Toe-Tally Cosmic.

The multichrome shades from Polish Me Silly that I've got to try so far are truly spectacular and eye catching. Their effect is really beautiful even on their own, but from swatches I've seen of these over a black base, they are even prettier!

FUN Lacquer - The 4 Seasons Collection

Today I have another FUN Lacquer swatch post to share with you, this time featuring the thermal 4 Seasons Collection. This collection consists of four fun and colorful thermal polishes that describe perfectly the four seasons of the year.

The colors in the collection are (L-R) Purple Crocus, Fall to Winter , Do You Be-Leaf in Magic & Sandcastle. Keep readingif you wish to get a closer look at these beautiful color changing thermal polishes!

The 4 Seasons thermal lacquers have a relatively similar formula - They dry to a matte finish that is not completely smooth to touch, but a top coat smooths them out and enhances the shimmer and glow in them. Purple Crocus & Sandcastle have a ticker formula and their warm state color is quite sheer on the nails, while Fall To Winter & Do You Be-Leaf in Magic are on the thinner side. I think you don't need more than 2-3 coats of these colors to get a good opacity, but a top coat is a must with these. For my swatches I am wearing two coats of each polish and a top coat.

Purple Crocus is a purple thermal polish with pink/lavender shimmer. It turns from lovely pastel purple when cold and sweet lavender pink when warm with some touch of sparkly pink/purple shimmer.

This was such a beautiful color combination, I really love the soft lavender tone combined with the purple tips. Although the formula was on the thick side, I managed to apply it evenly and without much trouble.

The warm state of this color is a bit lighter than it shows on my nails (my hands were cold when I swatched this collection and apparently dipping them in warm water wasn't enough), and it appears to be more sheer on the nails.

Below is two coats of Purple Crocus with top coat.

Fall to Winter is a duochrome satin finish thermal polish with color changing shimmer. It change from a midnight blue when cold and a purplish taupe when warm.

This was also a very interesting color combination to be, I would have never though that these two colors could look so nice together! Here I had a better application thanks to the thinner formula.

Below is two coats of Fall To Winter with top coat.

Do You Be-Leaf in Magic is a duochrome thermal polish. It changes from a gorgeous green when cold and a stunning olive green/gold when warm.

At first I didn't think that I'm going to love this color since I'm not a huge fan of green on my nails, but this thermal polish changed to a beautiful shimmery gold shade that I just couldn't resist.

It has a beautiful, almost metallic shine to it, and the pigment is really great in this color, I think the best from this entire collection.

Below is two coats of Do You Be-Leaf in Magic with top coat.

Sandcastle is an orange thermal with gold shimmer. It turns from a sunset orange when cold and beautiful white/gold when warm.

I really liked the transition of this shade, changing from a soft golden peachy shimmer to a a vibrant orange. Sandcastle was similar to Purple Crocus in it's formula and the relatively sheer warm stats color, leaving me eager for a more pigmented yet thinner formula.

Below is two coats of Sandcastle with top coat.

Overall I think that this is a great thermal collection, it's super fun and the colors are just beautiful.

I think my favorite must be Purple Crocus, although Fall To Winter is a very beautiful color with an interesting effect, so it was pretty hard to decide.

I think that the formula could have been a bit better and I wish that the warm state of these colors was a more opaque, although taking in mind that the color is buildable (if you got patience), and the fast drying formula here comes in handy.

Swatch & Review: Glitter Gal - Transfusion

Today I have a quick swatch post for you ladies, this time featuring a stunning holographic nail polish by Glitter Gal in the shade Transfusion. I got this one along with my other sample polishes from Hypnotic Polish store and I was so excited to finally try it out! This nail polish and it's holographic effect are way too amazing to describe in words, so I'll let the swatch photos to speak for themselves.

Glitter Gal Transfusion is an amazing dark purple plum tone with holographic effect. This color and the rainbow holo effect just blew my mind away! I love how deep and rich the color of this polish is, and I just couldn't take my eyes of it. The holo effect was very strong even in indirect sunlight, and in the shade you can enjoy it's beautiful dark purple plum tone.

The formula was easy to work with and very pigmented. I needed two coats to get a perfect coverage.

It dried a bit dull and I wanted to try a top coat over it, but I just couldn't locate my Glitter Gal Gloss Boss top coat (that was created especially to work over holo polishes and doesn't dull their effect) so I skipped it for the swatch. Although the finish wasn't as glossy as I like it, it didn't bother me much because the holo effect was amazing with this one.

Last week I attended the launch even of ANNY nail polish brand in Israel. If you are not familiar with this brand yet, this is a German brand that was established in 2011 which offers a large selection of 114 colors and finishes, and every eight months launches a new collection with six shades.

The even took place at Adi Beauty Studio in Tel Aviv. Since I always do my nails at home, I never get to visit these places, but I was so impressed with this beauty boutique that I felt like I should stop by there more often. The reception was lovely; the place was beautiful and the delicious delights were spot on. At the event we got to know ANNY brand, see the beautiful color range they offer, and got a mani/pedi with ANNY's colors of our choice.

Along the colorful line of nail polish, ANNY offers a variety of nail treatment products such as base coats, 6 in 1 base and top, ridge fillers, no more yellow nude base, quick dry top coat, high gloss top coat, express nail hardner, regenerating nail or and more.

Another thing that I really liked about ANNY is that they have a tester for each one of these products and the nail colors, so you can try them before you but them, which is really great.

Each one of us got to choose her favorite nail colors from ANNY and got them as a gift. Best goodie bag ever! There were so many colors to choose from and I really wanted to try them all.

Hello ladies! Today I have swatch and review post to share with you, featuring a new release from the Israeli brand Ga-De Cosmetics. Ga-De have released a while back a collection of six sugar effect nail colors (see my review of the Gold Sugar), and in mid March they released an additional black shade with the same sugar effect. I have no idea why they decided on this late release, but hey - I'm always glad to try more of their polish! So let's see the swatches and take a closer look at Ga-DeBlack Sugar.

Ga-De Black Sugar is a black sugar (duh!) / sand effect polish with a black base and tiny silver glitter. It dries to a gritty finish with a sparkly effect.
It's formula was great, not too thick and not too thin - just right in the middle and very easy to apply.
If you are thinking something like "Hey! Is this a dupe for Zoya Dahlia?!" the answer would probably be "Yes!". I don't own Zoya Dahlia in my collection, but from swatches I've seen - it seems like these are perfect dupes.
I've always wanted a black sand effect nail polish but never got to get one (why?), and this one is pretty great! I'm happy that it is a simple and clean black (well, with silver glitter, but still...) unlike the CHIC Sugar Baby 7 that has some colorful bits in it. I was looking for it since the release and only this week I got my hands on it and had to buy it.

Apperently Ga-De decided to change the brush with this one. I dont' know if this is something permament or not, but it's the first time I see a Ga-De nail polish with this kind of brush.

Compared to the 'old' brush on the left, the new brush (right) it wider, flat and fan shaped. The old/regular brush of Ga-De is rounded, slim and long - a lot like Essie's brush.

I have to admit that as soon as I opened the bottle and discovered this brush I was like "Oh no!" because I really (really!) love Ga-De's brush, and generally I prefer a slim brush over a wide one.

But... When I actually applied the nail polish to the nails with the new brush - I was pretty impressed. It allowed me to apply the nail polish perfectly with barely any cleanup needed. That was a pleasant surprise! I still haven't made up my mind about this brush, I think I'll wait and see if any new colors will be released with it, and if so - I would like to try a creme formula with the new brush to make up my mind.

I really loved this one and glad I got to try it. I actually planned on showing you this polish with a clear top coat on but I realized I forgot to do so only after I removed it, and I was kinda lazy to apply it again. I tried it just now over one nail and it looks really nice! The top coat (2 coats required for smoother finish) added a lovely shine and made the black appear darker and richer. It looked like a starry sky at night, really beautiful!

I'm curious to see if Ga-De will release any new colors and finishes soon, but mostly I'm curious to know which brush will they come with.

Hello ladies! Today I have a new post from The Beauty Buffs series (see my previous post in this series here). This week theme wasRoyal Blue and it was a great opportunity for me to use one of my recent favorite additions to the collection. Apparentlythe Royal Blue color has various definitions, I thought that using two colors could be a nice solution for this theme's nail art.
So here's my Royal Blue nail art for The Beauty Buffs challenge, keep reading to learn how I created this design.

For this Royal Blue nail art I used two blue shades by CHIC; Soul Mate (283) - a deep dark blue and Catwalk (264) a lighter blue. I created a gradient with these two colors using a simple makeup sponge.

I added some silver holo glitter over the gradient to give the design a bit of sparkle, using GK 734 A - a fine silver holographic glitter in various sizes in a clear base.

For the stamping design I used Nailz Craze NC02 stamping plate (this swirly design is probably my favorite from my plates since I used it sooo many times already, never get tired of this one!) with Konad's white stamping polish, topping it with PUPA's Gel Top Coat (which has a great wide brush that helps to prevent smearing oכ stamped designs and adds a beautiful gloss).

That was a pretty easy and fun design to create, I really loved how this Royal Blue nail art turned out and I would love to hear what you think. Hope you enjoyed this post and liked my nail art.
